Internal Sales Executive

Job Status: Full Time
Location: St Helens

Job Description:

Internal Sales Executives are based at one of our Call Centres where they telephone prospective customers and tell them about Tensor's Smart Card / Biometric Time & Attendance, Access Control, HR, security and other products. They then send sales information to the customer and discuss with the customer whether they have any need for our products. The objective here is to determine customer "need" for our products and services and to qualify seriousness and chances of getting business. This includes whether the potential customer has the necessary budget to buy our products. Where there is a genuine chance of getting a sale, you will then book a diary appointment for a sales demonstration by one of our Sales Consultants. The Sales Consultant will visit the potential customer, demonstrate the product(s) and create a quotation. The Sales Consultant will then progress this quotation through to getting a customer order.
The Call Centre is fully computerised and is run as a paperless office.

Applications are invited from sales orientated people with a good telephone manner who either have previous sales experiece or alternatively feel that they are natuarlly a "sales" person and can suceed in this role. They must also be "at ease" using PC's and be a good communicator.

We will provide full training on our products and training on how to use our computer systems.

Applicants must:

  • Be hard working, proactive and self-motivated
  • Be a customer orientated person with a friendly but efficient disposition
  • Be experienced in using PCs
  • Be willing to learn about our products and able to develop their personal skills in dealing with people
