Applications must be keen and enthusiastic technical trainers or teachers qualified to HND/Degree level or who have similar experience in teaching or training. The ability to inspire others with your enthusiasm for our products is essential. You also need to have a good knowledge of PC's and Windows and, ideally, PC Networks. You will be expected to keep your knowledge up-to-date. For our part, we will train you on new products and software as necessary.
This is a full-time position that will require the candidate to sometimes travel throughout the UK and stay over-night in the vicinity of customer sites. A vehicle will be provided.
After an initial Product Training period, you will join a team of professional PC trainers who provide customer product training and help-desk support for our computer systems.
The job involves training new and existing customer staff on the use of our PC based Time & Attendance, Access Control, Personnel and other software packages. You will also be training our own sales and other technical staff. Training takes take place at the customer's premises and at our training facilities in Hail Weston, St Helens and Glasgow.
The training utilises our demonstration equipment and multimedia presentation computers using PowerPoint.
A further part of the job is providing Help Desk support via the telephone and Internet. Much of this work is helping customers find their way around our computer systems and fault finding. You will be analysing and solving customer problems that can occur if they use the systems incorrectly.
