Great Staughton Primary School is a local primary school on the outskirts of St Neots, Cambridgeshire, whose aim is to provide a stimulating learning environment in which all members of the school community are respected and valued and where children can develop to the full extent of their abilities.

Tensor has donated 4 laptops to Great Staughton Primary School to help ensure that the school has enough laptops for all of the children attending the school to use and learn with.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, some students are having to learn from home to protect family members, so Tensor’s donation will go a long way to helping these students continue to learn from home.

Mrs Suzi Whiting, Executive Headteacher, Great Staughton Primary Academy told Tensor that the donation will help them out with home learning and that they are very thankful for the kind gesture. “We are very grateful for this sort of support. Ensuring that we have enough technology and sufficient devices for all of our children is a constant challenge in a small school so we are very thankful. As families are still required to isolate due to the Covid-19 pandemic, having a few spare devices around school is very useful as it means we can lend them out if children need to do their learning remotely for a short while. Thanks so much!”

The School Council at Great Staughton Primary Academy were also extremely grateful for Tensor’s donation as they said, “Thank you so much for the extra laptops. We are aiming to make sure that we have enough devices for each pupil in our top class to have a device each so this will really help us to reach that goal”.

Tensor is always willing to help its local community wherever it can, and believes supporting other local businesses is invaluable.
