Designed for either indoor (T3464) or outdoor (T3464x) use, these fingerprint readers are designed to meet the requirements of those who want the assurance that only the right people can gain access to sensitive or dangerous areas on their sites. The T34xx series of fingerprint readers allow you to mix fingerprint reading and non-fingerprint reading scanners on the same security network. They also feature built-in card readers for enhanced security via 2-factor authentication.

The T3464 readers from Tensor feature a new Live Finger Detection technology from Suprema. The previous live detection technology analyses the dynamically changing pattern, liveness feature and unnaturalness feature of live and new fingers. Thus meaning along with improvements to the existing algorithm, the detection technology implements a liveness decision engine using dual light source imaging. Using infra-red and white light, the engine blocks fake fingerprints made from various materials including clay, rubber, silicone, glue, paper, film and so on.
The T3464 series comes with robust, vandal-resistant housing. Combining reinforced resin with Suprema’s sophisticated engineering, the reader can withstand a high level of impact, making it vandal-resistant. As expected from a reader designed for outdoor use, the device also delivers superior ingress protection with its IP67 rated rugged structure
The Fingerprint readers support a seamless power sourcing over Ethernet cable (CAT5/6) without any degrading network performance and reach. Suprema’s PoE featured devices compliance to IEEE802.3af standard, to provide users with lower installation cost, simpler cabling and lower maintenance cost
