Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated BMS Installation Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, modification, and installation of control panels, as well as ensuring the seamless integration of BMS systems into existing infrastructure.

Location: Leicester
The Installation Engineer position within HeatingSave involves an initial training period where you will become familiar with the HeatingSave product range of BMS controls and Access Control products. You will be undertaking installations and supporting our Commissioning engineers as well as completing maintenance visits on HeatingSave systems at various UK locations but you will be based at our Hail Weston Springs office.
Due to the nature and location of the works the role will require regular periods of staying away.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, modify, and install control panels for Building Management Systems
  • Interpret and create electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control panel layouts.
  • Perform on-site installation and commissioning of BMS hardware and software.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to control panels and BMS components.
  • Work with both single-phase and three-phase electrical systems.
  • Collaborate with project managers, clients, and other engineers to ensure successful project completion.·
  • Provide technical support and training to clients and end-users.
  • Ensure all work complies with relevant safety standards and regulations.·
  • Travel extensively and stay away from home frequently to work on projects across the UK.

Requirements:

  • Experience in designing and modifying control panels.
  • Strong understanding of BMS systems, components, and integration processes.
  • Proficiency in reading and creating electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
  • Competency with AutoCad or EPLAN and advantage
  • Hands-on experience with on-site installation and commissioning of BMS hardware and software.
  • Ability to work with single-phase and three-phase electrical systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Full driving license is required.
  • Relevant certifications or qualifications such as City & Guilds, BTEC, or NVQ in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, or a related field are preferred.
