Tensor installed a WinTA Time & Attendance system with several Smart Card scanners at various locations within the large modern factory of Harvey & Brockless. Currently they have six managers who access the system to monitor timekeeping, sickness and overtime of the 150 employee workforce. This is a 24 hours a day, 7 days a week operation with employees work several different shifts.

One of the main users of the WinTA system is Katherine Causton in Operations. She finds the Tensor system easy to use and likes how simple it is to add new employees and to plan for employee holidays and sickness. Katherine finds the system so easy and intuitive to utilize that she is largely self-taught.

“When I get a spare five minutes, I can try things that I have not done before to see if I can use the system to its full potential. The shifts are easy to set up, the system is quite straightforward to learn and it gives you all the information you need,” she said.

The six managers also find the system great for instantly reviewing employee’s timekeeping and overtime.
