New Tensor Mobile Self-Service Module (SSM) App Version 3.803.26 Offers Multiple New Features to Boost Remote Working Capabilities
The Mobile Self Service Module (Mobile SSM) App within our Tensor.NET Time & Attendance system enables employers to know exactly where and when employees clock in to start their working day and clock out to end, a vital issue for any company’s day-to-day operational management.
As part of our efforts to help customers enjoy superior remote workforce management capabilities following the COVID-19 outbreak, we have added a number of very powerful features in the latest Mobile SSM Version 3.803.26, which are available when paired with the 4.2.0.x Series of Tensor.NET software.
The main new features and improvements are:
Summary Page – the app’s summary page has been enhanced with two extra features in this version: the summary header section now contains the user’s current fire roll call site status, their fire point when booked ON, as well as their last time of booking. Furthermore, a quick links section has been added to the summary, providing shortcuts to the clocking, absence requests and fire roll call booking pages.
Fire Roll Call (FRC) Booking – users can use the new Fire Roll Call menu option or shortcut to change their site status as they move in or out of company premises. Any changes to their site status are immediately transmitted to Tensor’s clocks and access controllers, in readiness for printing evacuation reports in the event of a fire alarm.
Supervisor Calendar – authorising users can now add absence bookings for their subordinates using the supervisor’s calendar. Select an employee and calendar date and tap on the Make a new subordinate request link to book a request that is automatically approved.
Delegation – this version of the mobile app includes the delegation functionality found in web SSM. Supervisory Users can delegate their authorisation rights to alternative users to cover their temporary absence.
Door Status – door status is another web SSM feature that has been added to the mobile app for systems registered with a WinAC (access control) serial number. The Door Status option provides users with an overview of the current status of the access portals (doors) controlled by Tensor access controllers at each of their organisation’s sites. Door can be automatically locked or unlocked directly from the app.
Approving New Accounts – the app’s new account approval page for administrator users has been updated to include the extra options, such as self-approver and USB login, that are now present in web SSM.
