Partner agreement formalises integrated solution
Two of the leading names in CCTV, video analytics, biometrics and access control have formalised their partnership at the official UK Government global security event, the Security & Policing Home Office Event 2017.
Tensor plc has signed an agreement to become EyeLynx Limited’s first official channel partner, under which EyeLynx has completed a bi-directional integration of Tensor’s security and access control solutions into its iconic SharpView video recording and management software.
They have formally unveiled their partnership on Tensor’s stand (stand F33) at Security & Policing 2017 at Farnborough International Exhibition and Conference Centre.
The unique three-day event, established over 30 years ago, is the premier platform for UK suppliers to showcase the very latest equipment, training and support, to police services, Government departments, organisations and agencies from the UK and overseas.
Tensor engineers will be trained to operate the SharpView system and give training to the end user. A further partner agreement is planned with Tensor Indonesia.
Tensor group sales director Rob Cochrane said: “This is a really exciting opportunity for both companies to enable governments, security forces and corporates to really manage security and safety risks effectively through one integrated solution.”
Security & Policing provides a platform for professionals from the UK and across the world to engage with the very highest level of security expertise and the latest technology. It provides the level of industry engagement needed to enable UK Government to procure and deliver its national security priorities.
Security Minister Ben Wallace MP said: “The first duty of Government is to protect its citizens. The secure environment provided at Security and Policing 2017 allows UK industry and security professionals a unique opportunity to have access to the best in new technologies.
“In an ever faster moving world, our security challenges can only be overcome by Government and law enforcement agencies embracing technical innovation.”
