Workplace clocking stations can connect to a fire alarm panel to aid health and safety
Eight people were hurt after an explosion and fire caused devastation at an industrial estate in Surrey. Of the eight who received injuries, two are thought to have sustained serious burns. One of them was airlifted to a London hospital, while the others were taken to nearby hospitals. One witness Natalie Dugdale told Sky News she heard three explosions and could see "masses and masses of smoke". She said fire officers told her the blast was caused by recycled printer toner.
Tensor smart card security and time and attendance scanning products can be integrated with fire roll call hardware and software that will aid health and safety at the workplace. The software will automatically generate a report in the event of a fire or other emergency. The reports are generated containing the crucial information concerning who is on site so every staff member onsite can be accounted for. Tensor’s T32xx clocking stations have hardware links that can connect to a fire alarm panel.
